Zeolite History
Zeolite was one of the first materials used by NASA to grow plants in space.
Zeolites are naturally occurring minerals most commonly found in specific types of sedimentary rocks in the form of small crystals associated with clays, other silicate and aluminosilicate phases of similar density. Because of zeolite's molecular composition, it has an incredible absorbent/adsorbent ability. As a result, people are constantly developing new applications for the use of zeolite and it is emerging as one of the most useful minerals being excavated today.
Zeolites, often referred to as nature's miracle, are naturally occurring microporous, aluminosilicate minerals that are formed where volcanic rocks and ash layers react with alkaline groundwater. Because of how it is formed, naturally occurring zeolites are rarely found in pure form and are often contaminated by varying degrees of minerals such as metals, quartz or clays.
Zeolites Types
There are two separate types of zeolites. The natural type which is formed by ancient volcanic plumes, and their manufactured replications.Synthetic
Highly processed, and costly, synthetics have uniform pore size for highly specialized purpose
Natural
Natural zeolite is found in unique mineral deposits all over the world. It is environmentally friendly, compostable and re-purposable.
How Is ZeoFill Made?
ZeoFill is made out of a 100% natural resource from the earth. It is different that any other infill because ZeoFill is a negatively charged honey-combed molecular structure which absorbs the urine like a magnet and prevents the ammonia from forming a gas which is the main cause of smell. ZeoFill due to its ability to hold onto gases, prevents the gas from escaping for long periods of time making ZeoFill the better choice infill when it comes to dog deodorizer.
For years there has been a struggle for pet owners to decide if artificial grass is beneficial for their dog. Since majority of dogs have accepted fake grass as their bathroom, their owners had to water down and flush out the urine bacteria from the turf. Many turf manufacturers have made antimicrobial pet turf to resist the bacterial ammonia from adhering to the turf fibers. Silica sand would hold ammonia urine resulting in a great deal of smell.
Installation
Installation instructions for Homeowners and Contractors
Many people think infill gets installed under the turf but not exactly. For proper installation and odor control, install ZeoFill above the turf as "Infill". No need for other infills. Some companies disagree for good reason and we will discuss later. ZeoFill is safe to install directly on top of the turf fibers because of the high purity level. We feel it works better if urine is controlled on contact.
Homeowners

We are famous for having the best scent for artificial grass because of our "Fresh Cut Grass" smell. By using our 32 oz bottle with the garden hose nozzle, the live liquid enzymes are siphoned up out of the bottle by suction of the flowing water and mixing as it sprays out of the nozzle. PE-51 was specifically made for synthetic turf and any type of infill including Rubber, Poly coated silica sand, ZeoFill or zeolite. The "Live Liquid" cleans the inside of the granules better than any product on the market because our enzymes are not made from a powder.

PRODUCT TESTING
HOT ORDER TEST: Result 4
Internal test method to determine the odor rating on a scale of 1-5 where 5 is no noticeable odor and 1 is offensive odor.
SIMULATED HEAT TEST: Result – The surface temperature achieved by ZeoFill infill was 19.2 Degrees F, cooler than silica sand infill.
